1. Who we are

Quick Rider is the driver application operated by Quick Delivery Company Ltd as part of the Quick Delivery platform.

Quick Rider is intended for authorized delivery drivers. Driver accounts are created and approved through Quick Delivery's authorized administrative processes.

2. Information we collect and process

Driver account and identity information

We process information required to create, approve, secure, and operate a driver account, including:

• Driver name.
• Driver card number.
• Registered phone number.
• Email address, when provided.
• City and service area.
• National identification information.
• Driving license information.
• Vehicle information such as vehicle type, plate number, ownership information, and verification status.
• Driver and vehicle documents, document status, and expiry information where required by Quick Delivery.

Device, application, and session information

To secure driver accounts and operate Quick Rider, we process:

• Device identifier.
• Operating system and platform.
• Application version and build information.
• Login and session information.
• Session status and last activity time.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging device token.
• IP address and security-related request metadata where necessary for account security, fraud prevention, and abuse prevention.

Delivery and order information

We process information required to assign, manage, track, verify, and complete deliveries, including:

• Delivery order identifier and status.
• Assigned store and delivery destination.
• Pickup and delivery timestamps.
• Arrival and completion events.
• Delivery history.
• Driver earnings related to deliveries.
• Operational distance and location checks used during delivery.
• Delivery verification information, including delivery PIN verification results.

3. Precise and background location

Location is a core function of Quick Rider. Depending on device capabilities and Android permissions, we process:

• Approximate location.
• Precise GPS location.
• Location accuracy.
• Movement speed, when available.
• Device heading or direction, when available.
• Background location while the driver is Online or has an active delivery.

We use driver location to:

• determine whether Quick Delivery operates in the driver's current service area;
• identify suitable nearby drivers for new delivery orders;
• assign delivery orders efficiently;
• maintain the driver's Online or Busy work status;
• provide live tracking during an active delivery;
• help the driver navigate to the store and customer destination;
• continue delivery tracking when the driver opens Google Maps or another navigation application;
• verify arrival at the pickup location;
• verify arrival at the customer location;
• verify that delivery completion occurs near the required customer location;
• reduce incorrect delivery completion, fraud, disputes, and location-related delivery errors;
• help the customer whose delivery is currently being performed and authorized Quick Delivery personnel follow the progress of that active delivery.

When background tracking is active on Android, the operating system may display a persistent notification indicating that Quick Rider is using location.

Quick Rider uses work-related background location while the driver is Online or Busy. When the driver goes Offline, signs out, or no longer has a valid driver session, work-related background tracking is stopped.

Denying required precise or background location permission may prevent or limit core features, including Online mode, nearby order assignment, live tracking, navigation support, arrival verification, and delivery completion.

4. Android permissions and technical access

Quick Rider uses Android permissions that are necessary for delivery operations, including:

• Internet access — to communicate with Quick Delivery servers, synchronize delivery status, load map services, and exchange operational data.
• Approximate location — for general location-aware functions where appropriate.
• Precise location — for accurate pickup, delivery, live tracking, nearby-order assignment, and arrival verification.
• Background location — to continue location-dependent driver functions while the driver is Online or completing an active delivery and Quick Rider is not actively visible.
• Foreground service and foreground service location — to keep driver location tracking active in a visible Android service while the driver is working.
• Notifications — to notify drivers about delivery orders, assignments, order readiness, status changes, account events, and other important operational messages.

5. Customer information provided to the assigned driver

Quick Rider provides the assigned driver with limited customer information when it is necessary to safely and correctly complete the assigned delivery.

This information may include:

• Customer name.
• Delivery address.
• Delivery instructions and address notes.
• Customer phone number when the driver has reached the appropriate delivery stage and direct contact is required.

The customer's name, phone number, address, and delivery instructions are used only to help the assigned driver locate the correct customer, resolve delivery-location issues, coordinate handoff, and safely complete the order.

Direct customer contact is restricted to the delivery process. Quick Rider enables customer contact at the appropriate delivery stage, including after the driver reaches the customer location and communication is needed to deliver the order correctly.

Customer information must not be used by the driver for unrelated personal, promotional, advertising, or marketing purposes.

6. In-app chat between driver and customer

Quick Rider provides an in-app chat service between the assigned driver and the customer for delivery-related communication.

The chat service is made available at the appropriate delivery stage, including when the driver reaches the customer location and needs to coordinate delivery of the order.

The purpose of this chat service is to help the driver and customer resolve practical delivery issues such as locating the entrance, confirming the correct meeting point, clarifying delivery instructions, coordinating safe handoff, and ensuring that the order is delivered to the correct customer.

The chat service is intended only for the assigned delivery. It is not intended for unrelated personal communication or marketing.

To operate the chat service, we process:

• Chat message content.
• Driver and customer identifiers.
• Sender and recipient information.
• Message timestamps.
• Delivery order reference.
• Message delivery and read status where supported.
• Limited technical metadata needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot chat.

Chat records may be retained for a reasonable period where necessary for delivery safety, customer support, dispute investigation, fraud prevention, or protection of drivers, customers, stores, and Quick Delivery.

7. Delivery PIN and delivery verification

Quick Rider uses a delivery PIN and location verification to help confirm that an order is handed to the correct customer at the correct delivery location.

The driver enters the PIN supplied by the customer during the final delivery stage. Quick Rider sends the PIN for secure server-side verification and does not need to display the customer's stored PIN to the driver.

PIN verification, arrival checks, and location verification are used to reduce incorrect delivery completion, fraud, mistaken handoff, and disputes.

8. Notifications

Quick Rider uses notifications for operational purposes, including:

• New delivery orders.
• Automatic delivery assignments.
• Order readiness and status updates.
• Important account or session events.
• Messages required to operate the delivery service safely and reliably.

Quick Rider uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver operational notifications to the driver's device.

9. Maps and navigation

Quick Rider uses mapping and location technologies to display the driver's location, store locations, customer destinations, and delivery-navigation information.

Quick Rider uses Google Maps services and may open the Google Maps application for external turn-by-turn navigation.

Quick Rider continues its own authorized background location tracking while the driver uses Google Maps or another navigation application when the driver remains Online or is completing an active delivery. This allows Quick Delivery to maintain live delivery tracking and operational driver status while navigation is in use.

Google may process information under Google's own privacy terms when Google Maps or related Google services are used.

10. How we use information

We use information described in this policy to:

• authenticate and secure driver accounts;
• bind approved driver accounts to authorized devices where required;
• manage driver sessions and account status;
• verify driver and vehicle eligibility;
• determine driver availability and service coverage;
• assign nearby delivery orders;
• manage pickup, navigation, customer delivery, and completion;
• provide live delivery tracking;
• enable delivery-related phone communication between the assigned driver and customer;
• enable in-app chat between the assigned driver and customer at the appropriate delivery stage;
• verify delivery using location and delivery PIN controls;
• calculate and display driver delivery earnings and history;
• send operational notifications;
• protect customers, drivers, stores, and Quick Delivery against fraud, misuse, disputes, and unauthorized access;
• investigate delivery incidents and provide driver or customer support;
• improve the reliability, security, and performance of Quick Rider.

11. Sharing of information

Quick Delivery does not sell driver or customer personal data to advertisers.

Information is shared only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and support the Quick Delivery service, including with:

• the customer whose delivery is currently being performed, including relevant active-delivery progress and live driver location only while that customer's delivery is active;
• the assigned driver, including the limited customer information needed to complete the assigned delivery;
• the assigned store and authorized store personnel for order preparation and pickup coordination;
• authorized Quick Delivery administration, operations, and support personnel;
• service providers that support hosting, maps, notifications, communications, security, and technical infrastructure;
• Google Maps and related mapping services when map or navigation functionality is used;
• Firebase services used for operational push notifications and application services;
• authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law or is reasonably necessary to protect safety, rights, property, prevent fraud, or investigate unlawful activity.

Customer names, phone numbers, addresses, delivery instructions, and chat messages are provided or processed only for legitimate delivery, safety, support, and dispute-related purposes.

12. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including delivery operations, account security, support, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal obligations.

Live and stored location information that is no longer needed for operational, safety, dispute, fraud-prevention, accounting, or legal purposes may be deleted or anonymized.

Delivery, chat, payment, settlement, fraud-prevention, or dispute records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary for accounting, operational, contractual, safety, or legal obligations.

13. Account deletion

Drivers can request deletion from inside Quick Rider through:

An active delivery must be completed before the driver account can be deleted.

After verified deletion, personal profile data, active sessions, saved device tokens, unnecessary stored location information, and other personal data associated with the driver are removed or anonymized as appropriate.

Limited anonymized or legally required delivery, payment, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, or dispute records may be retained where necessary.

14. Security

Quick Delivery uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect driver, customer, order, device, session, communication, and location information.

Security controls include, as appropriate, password hashing, secure session tokens, device binding, access controls, driver approval and blocking, delivery PIN verification, location checks, server-side validation, session expiration controls, and monitoring for suspicious or unauthorized activity.

No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but Quick Delivery works to reduce risk and protect information used to operate Quick Rider.

15. Driver choices and controls

Android provides controls for location and notification permissions. Drivers can review these permissions through device settings.

Because location and notifications are core functions of a delivery-driver application, disabling required permissions may prevent or limit Online mode, nearby order assignment, live tracking, navigation support, arrival verification, delivery completion, and important delivery notifications.

16. Third-party services

Quick Rider uses third-party technical services to operate maps, navigation, notifications, hosting, and application infrastructure.

These providers may process limited information under their own privacy terms and applicable agreements. Services used by Quick Rider include Google Maps Platform and Firebase services.

17. International processing

Some service providers used by Quick Delivery may process or store information in countries other than the country where the driver or customer is located. Quick Delivery takes reasonable steps to use appropriate service providers and safeguards for the information being processed.

18. Children

Quick Rider is a professional delivery-driver application and is not intended for children. Driver accounts are created or authorized only for individuals permitted to perform delivery work for Quick Delivery.

19. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Quick Delivery may update this Privacy Policy when legal requirements, service providers, security practices, or data-processing practices materially change.

The effective date shown at the top of this page identifies the current version of this Privacy Policy.
